Primary Skills (Must Have):

1. Expert knowledge of HTML , Java/J2EE, particularly Servlets, JSP
2. Good knowledge on Scripting framework JavaScript
3. Familiarity with EJB, Spring, webservices, Hibernate, Junit
4. Knowledge of build Scripting- e.g. Ant
5. Working knowledge of the SQL/PLSQL language
6. Working knowledge of relational databases, particularly SQL Server/Oracle
7. Familiarity with XML, XSLT, SOAP
8. Working knowledge of common java IDEs e.g. Eclipse.
9. Experience with at least one development lifecycle

Secondary Skills ( Nice to have)

1. Knowledge to Ajax , ExtJS framework, JQuery
2. Knowledge of Maven
3. Working knowledge on any one of Reporting tool e.g. Crystal Reports , Jasper Reports
4. Knowledge of C++ is an advantage
5. Knowledge of DHTML
6. Working knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: DOM, HTTP/S,SSL
7. Working knowledge of Linux
8. Creation of complex database queries, triggers and stored procedures
9. Behavioral Skills and Attributes (Must have) :
10. Good written and verbal communication skills
11. Collaborative and Helpful
12. Attitude to learn and accepting challenges
13. Positive and proactive when encountering difficult issues
14. Capable of embracing opportunities that are less than fully defined and detailed; exhibiting the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations
15. Expert in problem solving with very good Analytical skills
16. Self-motivated and decisive, Objective driven
17. Ability to contribute to the development and enhancement of processes

Qualifications:

1. Degree level, or equivalent, qualification
2. Possesses at least three years experience developing commercial software
3. Familiarity with financial software advantageous
